1. If you’re suicidal you can’t do anything about it, that’s just the way you are. Suicidal negative thoughts are often connected to a pressure and picture of perfection that we try to fit into. We can learn to love ourselves as we are with our limitations and talents and make the best of that. All we need to do is ask for help if we don’t know how to.

2. We as human being are very limited, dull and boring. No matter what we want we still end up unhappy and unfulfilled. Research shows that human beings with a bit of hard work and the help of others, can achieve just about anything they put their mind to. Happiness and fulfilment comes about when we use our talents in a caring and self-loving way for the good of ourselves and of mankind.

3. When we tell ourselves the opposite of the negative criticism we hear, we’re lying to ourselves. The truth is that at the core of each human being lie untold resources of goodness and beauty. Criticism blocks our vision and pulls us into discouragement and despair hindering us from fulfilling our potential for goodness, love and altruism.

4. Being hurt of criticised by people close to us doesn’t make any difference. We can still feel good about ourselves and have a great life. For our own self-esteem and happiness we need to surround ourselves with people who respect and recognise our potential for good. With people who regard us with love. When close ones deny us their love and respect we can fall into the trap of looking at ourselves through their eyes. Many people end up wounded and confused not knowing ho to connect to their true inner goodness and beauty.

5. We can love others even if nobody loves us.Research shows that we need to feel loved in order to love others. We need to at least love ourselves, be kind and caring towards ourselves otherwise we burn ourselves out loving others without being nourished ourselves.
